Students from Flanders Elementary School drama club, above, practice for today’s opening curtain. The club will present “Lion King Jr.” this weekend at the DePaolo Middle School auditorium. Performances will be on April 29 (7 p.m.), April 30 (6 p.m.), and May 1 (2 p.m.), and tickets are $5. If you’re looking for a really dramatic weekend, try a double feature. The South End Elementary School drama club is performing “The Wizard of Oz” on April 29 (7 p.m.) with two shows on April 30 (1 p.m. and 7 p.m.). Tickets are available at the door.
